The March issue of Vogue Italia is a triumph! Starting right off the bat with a stunning cover shot by Steven Meisel of Rianne von Rompaey. This cover is a perfect example of why I have pledged my eternal undying love to Vogue Italia as my favourite Vogue publication and Meisel as my favourite cover artist. They are my most beloved marriage (after Bey & Jay of course) and I hope the separation they were going through is over, because this is what my heart desires – ethereal beauty!

And that’s just the beginning my loves, because inside, oh inside! The cover story is a unique selection of ingénue portraits, just what Meisel does best! Photographers featured in this issue are among the most talented of our time and each of their editorials seem to celebrate their own unique style and remind us just why we love them. I’m going to specifically show you a few stories, but there are also spreads by Craig McDean, Mario Sorrenti, Michel Comte, Miles Aldridge, and Sarah Moon, as well as a third by Paolo Roversi and a second by Ellen von Unwerth & Sølve Sundsbø. Truly we are blessed! Now go buy the issue because there is no sweeter feeling than stroking the glossy pages of a truly magnificent fashion magazine!

Alright nerds, hold on to your everything because I have a whole lotta GoT/other nerd crossover star photos to throw at you! We’re being blessed with so much Gwendoline Christie right now thanks to the upcoming Star Wars movie, we’ve got a little Emilia Clarke our mother of dragons/John Connor, and hey, why not our favourite Wildling/aspiring secretary maid Rose Leslie (Yes Downton Abbey is a nerd show! I watched every episode even though it got REALLY bad, it sparks devotion! It features costumes and high drama and controversial character deaths. NERRRRRD!)

All of these pictures are beautiful, but lets be real and admit it: THE GWENDOLINE PICTURES ARE BLOWING OUR MINDS! AREN’T THEY? THEY ARE! God, she’s perfect.

Rachel Weisz by Tom Craig for Bazaar UK, November 2015

The November issue of Bazaar UK is as strong as the November issue of Vogue UK. Get it Brits! Cover star Rachel Weisz proves she’s a vampire by looking positively ageless in the beautiful spread by Tom Craig. I love women in fancy dresses and no shoes! So end-of-a-fabulous-night! So darling! Such a story to tell with one little detail removed! Rachel stars in The Lobster alongside Colin Farrell this Holiday Award Season. It looks great! She’s great! I adore her.

Also featured in the issue is a stunning Regan Cameron (who I love & haven’t seen lately) shoot of Zuzanna Bijoch (who I love solely based on this shoot because I have no memory of seeing her before). I love a model who can wear a couture gown and not become lost inside it. She’s sparkling and everything she’s wearing is swooning me!

Finally, one of my favourite models of all time, who I will insist you all look at whenever given the opportunity, Guinevere Van Seenus stars in a tiny little spooky spread by Sølve Sundsbø that reminds me why I’ve dedicated my life to all things heartbreakingly beautiful.

Love by Sølve-Sundsbø, Fall/Winter 2015

This 48 page spread by Sølve Sundsbø for the current issue of Love magazine is a masterwork, combining couture, fantastical settings, and truly talented models into a perfect mix of odd, striking beauty. This is the kind of story that deserves a peek in person. I’m aching to sit with the bulk of this issue on my lap and lovingly turn each page, run my hand over my favourites, take in all the details before turning the page, and turning back again to my favourites, because I missed them and want to spend more time with them. That’s the sign of a truly magnificent editorial, especially now when so many exist in digital high-resolution – wanting to interact with a story.

Natalie Westling and Carly Moore by Sølve Sundsbø for V #94, Spring 2015

I love this powdery pale shoot of Natalie Westling and Carly Moore posed separately, and together by the romantically macabre Sølve Sundsbø.
