Let’s as a collective just agree upon a time to get together and scroll through these pictures & exclaim grunts and expletives because UNNNGH! FUCCCCCKKK! Every single one of these pictures is a gift! Idris is wearing all these overcoats like the Lord of Autumnal Sex and I’m enjoying him sitting on that tiny bench. All seats are too small for Idris! Love the scruff, love the eye-fucking he’s doing with the lens, love the GIANT MANHAND porn, love the way the photographer filled the frame with only Elba. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m off to swallow my entire fist.
I adore this story by Steven Pan of Ruth Wilson for The Edit. First of all – The Edit is an amazing publication! Nearly every editorial is a dreamy wonder, and it often features performers and models who are less used in more wide-spread publications. This is such a perfect example. Wilson has been seen more often lately because of her amazing work on first Luther, and most recently The Affair, but she’s been an overlooked gift for many years, and I’m glad she’s finally being recognized. Each image in this spread shows off her graceful and impish beauty.
Last night was like a flashback to our hard drives from 2002 with some old favorites like Salma Hayek, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kate Hudson and Naomi Watts, plus some of our new favorites like Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o and Lana Del Rey. Though the overall look was kinda dullsville, there were a few that managed to take a risk and thusly stood out in the parade of pastel column dresses. Amy Adams was in Versace, Naomi Watts in Gucci, Diane Kruger – Emilia Wickstead, Emily Blunt – Michael Kors, Tina Fey – Antonio Berardi, Amy Poehler – Stella McCartney, Jessica Chastain – Atelier Versace, Julianne Moore – Givenchy, Ruth Wilson – Prada and Kate Hudson in Versace.
