Weird that I haven’t shared any of these photos considering I light a candle to each of them every day. Lana’s most recent album Honeymoon has been playing on an infinite loop on my music machine, as well as in my brain, heart, and loinspace since September. It’s smooth mellow retro sex gold and while it doesn’t quite move me the way Ultraviolence did and still does, it’s a solid album that proves Lana is a force.

Let’s take a peek of some of Lana’s most stunning recent editorials. She’s a vision in Jork Weismann’s photos for the Interview Germany (which is a really fantastic publication), a throwback darling in a Billboard shoot by Joe Pugliese, a glam doll in the cover shoot by Liz Collins for the November issue of Vogue Turkey, and an ingénue in a set of collectors covers for the Fall/Winter issue of Nylon Español. My favourite shoot though is the odd macabre grieving Priscilla Presley at a Sex Club shoot by Steven Klein for V Magazine. I cannot stop staring at it. She’s the poutiest princesstress. I love her so much you guys. Time to go weep all over my altar and stain my satin with various holy and massage oils!

Last night was like a flashback to our hard drives from 2002 with some old favorites like Salma Hayek, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Kate Hudson and Naomi Watts, plus some of our new favorites like Jessica Chastain, Lupita Nyong’o and Lana Del Rey.  Though the overall look was kinda dullsville, there were a few that managed to take a risk and thusly stood out in the parade of pastel column dresses.   Amy Adams was in Versace, Naomi Watts in Gucci, Diane Kruger – Emilia Wickstead, Emily Blunt – Michael Kors, Tina Fey – Antonio Berardi, Amy Poehler – Stella McCartney, Jessica Chastain – Atelier Versace, Julianne Moore – Givenchy, Ruth Wilson – Prada and Kate Hudson in Versace.

Lana Del Rey stars in a stunning winter beach shoot for Galore Magazine, effortlessly channelling Marilyn Monroe’s impish sexuality with a 70s bombshell twist. God, I love her so much. I haven’t read the interview yet, but I can guarantee it’s amazing because her interviews always are.

EXCLUSIVE: Lana Del Rey for Madame Figaro by James White, June 27th 2014

Lana Del Rey is delivering an overwhelming amount of beautiful shoots lately while promoting her current album “Ultraviolence”. The album is stunning – well crafted, beautifully produced, cohesive, and emotional without being overwrought (even with a song titled ‘Pretty When You Cry’). Lana’s look is still sad princess, but it’s more refined, with references to 1970s bohemian chic.

This shoot, photographed by one of our favourite photographers James White, gorgeously celebrates Lana’s melancholy doll baby face, wistful eyes fringed by thick liner and lashes, in a romantic, summery story featuring LDR in floral wreaths and fringed shawls clutched by her beautiful crimson nails. Such a perfect look – Boho Glam. As always – James’s connection with his models show in each shot as they either stare directly at him through his lens, or act a role that he effortlessly captures. Absolutely stunning.

Thanks to Mister White for providing Les Beehive with wonderful outtakes from the shoot. Every photo of Lana is a gift! James also regularly posts previews, outtakes, and flashbacks of his work on his Instagram.
