MOTHER OF DRAGONS! Vincent Peters lends his sumptuous creamy black and white style to these stunning retro photos of Emilia Clarke for the November issue of Esquire. Quick aside: what even is this disaster of a cover layout? Layouts are important, people! Messy junk like this pulls away from great pictures. It’s very frustrating! That aside, this is an amazing spread. Emilia has improved so much as a model over the years, and she bewitches the camera in every shot.

LesBeehive Throwback Thursday – Tom Hardy for Esquire, May 2014

This week’s LesBeehive Throwback Thursday celebrates, as we do every day in the ‘hive, the wonderful bold ridiculous creature that is Tom Hardy. Here he is in the spring of 2014 looking gross & fuckable.

For this spread, Esquire asked Hardy to shave his beard for the cover shot, he refused, stating: “I ain’t shaving my beard for you. To shave my beard off would be to cut my fucking nuts off. You know what I mean? And give them to you to sell—to prove that I am a man. But without them, I am no longer. You sold them! And I am now a lie. Why would I do that?”

Good for you, Tommy! You don’t need to shave to sell magazines, and you probably shouldn’t anyway because you are the prettiest of all the beautiful scruff-monsters.

Tom Hardy for Esquire, May 2014

Tom Hardy, star of Locke, which is currently in theatres, and the upcoming blockbuster remake of Mad Max, co-starring Charlize Theron, is featured on the cover of the May issue of Esquire. We’re blessed with a really filthy gorgeous dishevelled wonderful photo spread of Tom Hardy, and an outstanding interview with him where the interviewer explores Hardy’s potential to become a movie star, noting all he has going for him: beauty, support, an immense amount of talent, and all he has going against him: a shady past, a potential bomb with Mad Max, and a big ol attitude that makes him terribly interesting, but also terribly hard to categorize. Tom is odd and crass, and scrubbing that out of him might be a detriment to the gift he has to offer us as viewers.
