Alright nerds, hold on to your everything because I have a whole lotta GoT/other nerd crossover star photos to throw at you! We’re being blessed with so much Gwendoline Christie right now thanks to the upcoming Star Wars movie, we’ve got a little Emilia Clarke our mother of dragons/John Connor, and hey, why not our favourite Wildling/aspiring secretary maid Rose Leslie (Yes Downton Abbey is a nerd show! I watched every episode even though it got REALLY bad, it sparks devotion! It features costumes and high drama and controversial character deaths. NERRRRRD!)

All of these pictures are beautiful, but lets be real and admit it: THE GWENDOLINE PICTURES ARE BLOWING OUR MINDS! AREN’T THEY? THEY ARE! God, she’s perfect.

MOTHER OF DRAGONS! Vincent Peters lends his sumptuous creamy black and white style to these stunning retro photos of Emilia Clarke for the November issue of Esquire. Quick aside: what even is this disaster of a cover layout? Layouts are important, people! Messy junk like this pulls away from great pictures. It’s very frustrating! That aside, this is an amazing spread. Emilia has improved so much as a model over the years, and she bewitches the camera in every shot.

Daenerys vs Margaery In An Editorial Showdown

In this bold and colorful editorial done by one of our long time favorite photographers Norman Jean Roy for Harper’s Bazaar, Emilia Clarke is draped in some of last season’s most dramatic pieces, achieving the level of fierceness that only the Mother of Dragons can achieve.   Giving Emilia a narrative to act out in this editorial makes it easier for her.  In her more basic fashion shoots sometimes she comes across as a little stiff and uncomfortable, but with a character to play, the actress shines.  Meanwhile in VVV Magazine we have a shoot by Warwick Saint of Dany’s rival Queen.  The ferociously alluring Natalie Dormer shows us all exactly how to work growing out a side shave and proves once again that the Romeo and Juliet inspired Valentino collection was one of the best things to come from the couture season.
