Actress, fashion designer, and Chloe Sevigny BFF Tara Subkoff makes her directorial debut with the Horror film aptly titled: #Horror. The movie itself looks like it might not be great – while stylish and starring Chloe in all her cool perfection, and one of my girlhood crushes Timothy Hutton (who can still GET IT), it looks a little thin and like it’s trying a little too hard. But we’ll see! In the meantime, Paper Mag did this excellent editorial featuring the stars of #Horror as various iconic horror heroines. Chloe, Natasha Lyonne, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Lydia Hearst, Stella Schnabel, and Taryn Manning all star with Subkoff posed as Master of Horror Alfred Hitchcock. Spooky perfection!

Alright nerds, hold on to your everything because I have a whole lotta GoT/other nerd crossover star photos to throw at you! We’re being blessed with so much Gwendoline Christie right now thanks to the upcoming Star Wars movie, we’ve got a little Emilia Clarke our mother of dragons/John Connor, and hey, why not our favourite Wildling/aspiring secretary maid Rose Leslie (Yes Downton Abbey is a nerd show! I watched every episode even though it got REALLY bad, it sparks devotion! It features costumes and high drama and controversial character deaths. NERRRRRD!)

All of these pictures are beautiful, but lets be real and admit it: THE GWENDOLINE PICTURES ARE BLOWING OUR MINDS! AREN’T THEY? THEY ARE! God, she’s perfect.

How am I supposed to talk about these pictures when ALL I CAN DO IS WEEP? Look at how he looks at her! Look at how she looks at him looking at her! You know what would be fun? If I wasn’t 37 and didn’t have to go buy lentils and a bag of potatoes and figure out why my phone won’t hold a charge and could just spend the day looking up song lyrics that I think accurately describe Brad and Angie (BFFS 4EVA). They’re so in love. They’re so compatible. They’re so complementary. They’re so ridiculously attractive. Just a few more days until By the Sea is released, my loves! It’s not getting great early reviews. I CARE NOT! No derp it’s a vanity project that’s about super rich beautiful people struggling in various destination locations. It’s going to look gorgeous, and don’t we all deserve to look at something gorgeous? Don’t we all need a break from lentil shopping to watch two sets of perfect pillow lips speak beautiful words and the rest of the bodies attached to the perfect pillow lips cry and fuck and wear big sunglasses and smoke and throw things? YES WE DO! So look at these pictures, go see the movie, think about the Smith-Jolie-Pitts while you listen to love songs. Make a compilation album! Press it to vinyl! Hire a music legend (KENNY ROGERS????) and a TV personality (A FORMER HOST OF THE SOUP????) to stand together and speak rapturously about the songs and explain why they’re important to the Brad/Angie love story. Hire day-player actors to clink wine glasses in front of a crackling fire with a TV mounted above the fireplace playing Jolie-Pitt movies on a loop while each song title scrolls past them while they make fuck faces at each other. I have to go! I need to pitch something to Time Life! And buy lentils!

Recent Lana Del Rey Editorials

Weird that I haven’t shared any of these photos considering I light a candle to each of them every day. Lana’s most recent album Honeymoon has been playing on an infinite loop on my music machine, as well as in my brain, heart, and loinspace since September. It’s smooth mellow retro sex gold and while it doesn’t quite move me the way Ultraviolence did and still does, it’s a solid album that proves Lana is a force.

Let’s take a peek of some of Lana’s most stunning recent editorials. She’s a vision in Jork Weismann’s photos for the Interview Germany (which is a really fantastic publication), a throwback darling in a Billboard shoot by Joe Pugliese, a glam doll in the cover shoot by Liz Collins for the November issue of Vogue Turkey, and an ingénue in a set of collectors covers for the Fall/Winter issue of Nylon Español. My favourite shoot though is the odd macabre grieving Priscilla Presley at a Sex Club shoot by Steven Klein for V Magazine. I cannot stop staring at it. She’s the poutiest princesstress. I love her so much you guys. Time to go weep all over my altar and stain my satin with various holy and massage oils!

Rooney Mara by Peter Lindbergh for Interview, November 2015

Rooney Mara is the cover star of the November issue of Interview Magazine, and while I’d rather just look at pictures of Rooney looking at Cate, these Peter Lindbergh black and white street photos are outstanding. I’ll just pretend Cate is next to Lindbergh, telling Rooney what a great job she’s doing and how much she loves her. Cate and Rooney’s film Carol comes out the end of November, and we are all going to WEEP! GLORIOUS BEAUTIFUL GAY TEARS!

Also featured in the issue is a lovely little photo shoot of Downton Abbey and Game of Thrones star Rose Leslie. I’d make a joke about The Great War, or Jon Snow, but neither of those things are funny, so just look at the pretty redhead!
