With Game of Thrones working on its fifth season, we don’t get to see as much of the cast, but recently some new, fabulous pictures have popped up of fan favorites Gwendoline Christie (aka Brienne of Tarth), Pedro Pascal (aka The Red Viper) and Nathalie Emmanuel (aka Missandei).

Angelina Jolie is the cover girl of Vanity Fair’s December 2014 issue photographed by Mario Testino.   He’s taken beautiful pictures of her throughout the years, and I thought this was a great chance to look at them.

For Allure Magazine, 2004

For Vogue, 2004

From his book “Let Me In” These pictures of her with Brad Pitt are from 2005, soon after her and Brad Pitt announced that they were together, and soon after they adopted Zahara.  These are some of my favorite pictures of her, so natural and intimate and happy.

Behind the Scenes Pictures by Michael White

Michael White may be the most famous person you’ve never heard of. Playboy, bon vivant and the man who transformed Britain’s cultural scene in the 1970s, his fascinating life story is now the subject of Gracie Otto’s The Last Impresario, a vibrant portrait of the ‘enfant terrible’ of London’s theatre-land.

The theatre and film impresario played a vital role in the industry producing more than 200 shows and films over the last 50 years, including hugely influential successes such as Monty Python’s The Holy Grail and John Waters’ Polyester. Now in his late seventies and still living the party lifestyle, he has a set of friends that reads like a veritable who’s who of A-list celebrities including Kate Moss, Anna Wintour, John Cleese and Naomi Watts who, along with many others of White’s friends, contributed with interviews for the film.

Just as anyone would, White has documented the time spent among friends and shares some of the photos from his personal albums. Photographed by their friend in somewhat casual contexts the otherwise camera-ready celebrities get a chance to relax. The selection, covering three decades, reveals some intimate moments and provoke a sense of nostalgia for photography’s pre-digital analog era. (text from here)

There’s been lots of press and premieres for Interstellar already, and Annie has looked fantastic every time.  Let’s bask in the excellent styling, shall we?

Wearing Christopher Kane at the American Cinematheque Award honoring Matthew McConaughey on October 21st.

This dress is a naughty tease – I love the rope detailing tying in loops and knots all over her body, it has a slight fetishy feel to it.  Plus we can always rely on Annie to wear fabulously high heels with ease.  And hey, why not some pictures of her co-star Jessica Chastain in a beautiful yellow Givenchy dress?

LA Press Conference for Interstellar, October 26th

I love this cut that she’s sporting right now – she stayed with the short crop for a lot longer than I thought she would – and it’s always a little hard to see her with short hair because when her hair is long it is fucking EPIC, but this bob frames her features beautifully.

Wearing Givenchy couture at the LA Premiere for Interstellar, October 26th

This whole look is PERFECTION.  I love the slip dress with the subtle darting, it hangs off her body and gently skims her curves like a dream.  The statement jewelry hanging down her back and on her hand are the stars against the midnight blue sky of the dress.  This is some epic styling by Penny Lovell.  Jessica Chastain looks equally stunning in a Richard Nicoll’s dress.

Wearing Marc Jacobs at the Maison Assouline Opening, October 29th

The simplicity of black velvet and patterned tights and ankle boots all come together in this great look.  It’s sexy without being too revealing, and stylish without being too much.  There was a London premiere but I wasn’t into the dress Anne was wearing.

U guise!  Annie’s back!  And in another Christopher Nolan movie!  There’s a ton of promotion and press being done for Interstellar right now, so this is going to be a two-parter.  These are the better of the editorials she’s done for Interstellar – a bunch of the pictures of her with her co-stars Matthew McConaughey and Jessica Chastain look like dorky class photos.  These are three of the most beautiful people currently working in Hollywood and you put them in black turtlenecks?  I think Carl Sagan would have appreciated Annie in a McQueen dress more than an homage to his personal style, just sayin’.    You can watch a 30 min roundtable with Annie, McConaughey, Christopher Nolan and Jessica Chastain on the Hollywood Reporter site here.
